BillsPro — crypto, bills & USD virtual cards in one fintech app

BillsPro's founders saw three painful gaps in the African fintech experience: USD virtual cards that actually work on international sites, a clean way to buy and hold crypto, and a single place to pay everyday bills. Existing apps solved one, badly. The team needed a flagship mobile product that pulled all three into one trustworthy, polished experience — ready for both the App Store and Play Store on day one.

We designed and built BillsPro end-to-end as a React Native app on a Node.js backend. Modular Naira and Crypto wallets, USD Visa & Mastercard virtual cards (with Apple Pay / Google Pay), and a BillsPro payments rail for airtime, data, electricity, cable TV, internet and betting — all wrapped in a single emerald-green design system. Security flows include 3DS notifications, card freeze, and biometric session locks.

BillsPro launched on the App Store and Google Play in June 2026 for a UK-based private client. Users can fund a Naira wallet, spin up a USD card that works on thousands of international sites, top up phones and pay utility bills, and trade crypto — without ever leaving the app.
